Executive Vice President Business Development

Laurie has more than 30 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and program support for the development and maintenance of major Navy Ship platforms. She holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island and received a PMP certificate from the Program Management Institute.

She has extensive skills in the Navy acquisition lifecycle support from early research and development to lifecycle sustainment, with expertise in acquisition, procurement, budgeting, and financial management systems. Laurie joined Rite-Solutions in 2013 and is responsible for business development and strategic business planning across government markets.

Since joining Rite-Solutions, she has led business development and capture efforts for continued growth in the Washington DC metro area for Navy Tactical and Non-Tactical Systems Development, including prime contracts for Navy surface combat and control systems software engineering at the NSWC Dahlgren Warfare Center, submarine combat systems OBTT-MC and ISMT, the Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) RaPDS contract, SPAWAR Other Transaction Authority (OTA), expansion of our SBIR contracts and most recently the OASIS GSA Pool 3 MAC. Additional growth campaigns under her cognizance include establishing a growth campaign for adjacent Federal Government markets – Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Laurie is an active participant in industry/defense associations, including serving as an executive committee member of the Undersea Warfare National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) over the past 10 years, receiving the prestigious Captain George W. Ringenberg Award in 2020, recognizing her outstanding services and noteworthy contributions to the Undersea Warfare Division (UWD).

Prior to joining Rite-Solutions, Laurie served as the Vice President of Navy Business Development for CGI Federal (formerly Stanley Associates). Prior to this position, Laurie served as the Vice President for the Technical Solutions Division, managing a geographically dispersed division of approximately 200 employees for CGI Technical Services programs for NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, DHS, Patent & Trademark Office, and COMOPTEVFOR. She also served as the Navy Account Manager and was responsible for several captures and awards for NAVSEA, COMOPTEVFOR, and NAVAIR major prime contracts.
